Zambian winger Pascal Phiri has joined Egyptian side Al Ittihad Alexandria on a 12-month loan deal from Pyramids FC.

The 21-year-old winger has struggled for regular playing time since joining the Cairo-based club from Zesco United earlier in January, failing to start a game for Pyramids.

His move to Alexandria was sanctioned by new Pyramids head coach Rhulani Mokwena, as the club looks to provide the young winger with an opportunity for more regular first-team football.

Phiri will now hope to revive his form and gain valuable playing experience during his spell with Al Ittihad Alexandria.

Pyramids enjoyed a historic 2024/25 campaign, winning the CAF Champions League for the first time, while finishing second in the Egyptian Premier League.
