ZESCO Ndola Girls have completed the signing of Zambia international goalkeeper Esther Chitete Munsaka from The Elite Ladies FC in a landmark K100,000 transfer deal.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper, affectionately known as “The Screen Protector,” joins the reigning Zambian Women’s Super League champions after nearly six years at The Elite Ladies FC, where she established herself as one of the country’s leading goalkeepers.

The transfer is understood to make Munsaka the most expensive goalkeeper ever sold in Zambian women’s football, marking another significant milestone for the rapidly growing women’s game in the country.

Munsaka’s arrival comes at a crucial time for ZESCO Ndola Girls, who are preparing for their CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifiers and their campaign to defend their domestic crown.

ZESCO Ndola Girls have been drawn in Group A alongside CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA champions Gaborone United FC of Botswana, Lesotho Defence Force Ladies FC of Lesotho and Herentals Queens FC of Zimbabwe.
