The Zambia Police Service has announced the apprehension of four suspects in connection with the murder of Mr. Guntila Muleya, the Director General of the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA). Among the arrested individuals are two regular police officers, one reserve police officer, and one civilian.
In the course of their investigation, the police have recovered the official motor vehicle of the deceased. Additionally, they have seized two motor vehicles, three firearms (two pistols and an AK-47 rifle), cash amounting to K129,300, assorted knives, and various electronic gadgets including phones, hard drives, and flash disks from the suspects.
The investigation is progressing well, and the police have assured the public that they will be kept informed as the situation develops. However, they emphasize that premature disclosure of certain details could jeopardize the ongoing investigation.
