Shadreck Mwale Jr. is a 24-year-old Zambian musician, entrepreneur, and leader who continues to inspire many through his determination and passion for music. Born with cerebral palsy and autism, he has faced challenges affecting his mobility and speech. However, his unwavering faith, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit have allowed him to break barriers and pursue his dreams.
His love for music led him to become a band conductor in the Boys Brigade at his church, where he played a key role in uniting young people through music. When thieves stole all the band’s instruments, Shadreck spearheaded a fundraising initiative to restore them. Thanks to his efforts, the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) contributed K30,000, but more support is needed to meet the total budget of K360,285.
Beyond music, Shadreck has demonstrated exceptional business acumen, successfully running small ventures and even selling CDs for Zambian musician Salma Sky on commission. His latest achievement—recording his first song—marks a major milestone in his musical journey, proving that passion and perseverance can overcome any challenge.
Shadreck’s story is a powerful testament to resilience, inclusion, and the transformative power of music. Support his mission by contributing to the restoration of the Boys Brigade Band.
